Remember my post about groupie/blogger Kat Stacks? Well, apparently I was right! She was busted a couple of weeks ago. Mediatakeout.com got a hold of a series of email between Ms. Stacks and some concerned fan of the parties involved. Kat says that these celebrities pay her to keep their name in the media. This makes no sense because if that were the case we should ALREADY know who she is. Instead of her just "coming out of the woodwork" one day on twitter right? If you read a little further down Ms. Stacks even gives her number to this girl & tells her to call her so that they can talk. LOL!!!!!!!! It's so sad! I should mention that Wayne withdrew his support for the film soon after it was taped. He tried to halt the release of it but was unsuccessful. I'll be honest, Wayne is my FAVORITE rapper. He has described himself as a "martian". I'm inclined to believe him. When he raps it seems as though he really does enter another atmosphere. He doesn't write any of his lyrics down but they come out smooth as butter. As if he were reading them. This backs up his extra-terestrial claims. Unfortunately, he will have to find another way to "phone home" because for the next 8 months to a year he will be an inmate at Rikers Island. Wayne was charged with felony gun possession. During hid last couple days of freedom wayne appeared on ustream & created a twitter account as well. He reached over 10,000 followers in less than an hour!! Reportedly, Wayne shot 20-30 music videos in the weeks leading up to his incarceration (which officially began 3/8/10) so it will be hard to forget him. I finally got a chance to see this movie! It's a love story & definitely a tear-jerker! However, I was able to hold it together pretty well. The only thing I had a problem with was the ending. It really left things open to interpretation...Dear John 2 maybe?

Unless you've been living under a rock you've heard about the Tiger Woods scandal. Tiger took a 3 month break from golfing to regroup & attend sex rehab. Today he announced that he would be returning to golf via The Masters (4/8/10-4/11/10) in Augusta, Georgia. It has been reported that anytime Tiger is playing the ratings for televised golfing events increase by 93% In other words...$$$$$$$$$$$$ I'm ready to see if he can turn all this pressure into a win.

I haven't been able to turn my t.v. or visit a website seeing someone with these shades on. They're called SB Shades. Named after the creator, Stevie Boi. These shades are being worn by everyone from Lady Gaga to actress, Meagan Good. Suprisingly, the shades & acessories aren't as expensive as you might expect. I found a pair that I liked for just $25! The House is expected to vote this week on the healthcare bill that was passed by the Senate in December. There has been so much uproar surrounding this bill. Republicans see it as an unnecessary tax increase as well as another addition to the country's debt. Ever since he's introduced this bill President Obama's approval ratings haved dropped. The most recent Gallup Poll shows an approval rating of 48%. The lowest was, 46% & the highest, 69%. 216 votes are needed to pass the bill. There are 34 undecided Democratic votes to be accounted for. That's alot of votes so they're is lobbying going on from both supporters & opposers of the bill. I, myself, support the bill. Even if it's not passed I believe we're still going to see some sort of tax increase in the future so why not let it be for a good reason? I feel as though we as a nation are backtracking. Our ancestors fought so that neccessities such as healthcare would be available to all. It saddens me to see citizens Having to choose between eating or purchasing their medicine.

Apparently, a bench warrant has been issued for Lil' Wayne's arrest. A judge in Yuma, Arizona issued the warrant after Weezy failed to show up in court. The court date is concerning gun & drug charges that Wayne picked up after his tour bus was pulled over in January '08. I'm sure Wayne would've showed if...he weren't serving a 1 year sentence at Rikers! (refer to my earlier post if needed) The judge is aware of this but it looks as if it didn't affect his decision. I am anxious to see how this situation will turn out. Hopefully, he won't have to serve any additional time behind bars.

I'm sure you've all heard of twitter. It is probably the fastest growing form of social networking being used today. When twitter first burst onto the scene in July 2006 I thought it was rather silly & unnecessary. Why would people want to know what other people (who they don't know) were doing at random times throughout the day? It just didn't make sense to me. At first, iI thought people were just tweeting things like, "I'm in the shower" or "I'm eating". Yes, people do tweet things like this but no one's tweets forced to be this vague all the time. It's up to you to decide what the purpose of your twitter is. Are you using it to inspire, make people laugh, promote, or even, hate? I enjoy making new friends & I would like to think of myself as somewhat inspirational ;) so these are my reasons for using twitter. I have met some AWESOME people thanks to twitter. Celebrities are also using twitter! Not meeee...I'm talkin about Ian Watts aka Youngin Da SP. If you've been watching Mtv's hit series, "Taking The Stage" then you should be familiar with Ian. If not, you will be gettin familiar very soon. He brings something new to this particular season of "Taking The Stage" by being the first rapper spotlighted by SCPA (School of Performing Arts) in Cincinnati. I remember watching the audition special. The first thing I thought was, "he's cute!" but after I heard him rap I said, "he's cute & he can rap!". Ian's audition started out with him "spitting" his rhyme sort of hastily. The teacher who was observing his audition asked him to slow down & perform his rap in monologue form. When he did, I was able to understand every word. His lyrical content is crazy!! I Like Girls" was performed by Ian at one of SCPA's talent shows. Right when he started rapping the camera jumped to another scene! I was upset at the time but now I understand the plan. ;) I'm diggin' the cover art...hit up itunes for the official download!!

Precious is an unforgettable film. It took Hollywood by suprise & earned Monique her first Oscar for "Best Supporting Actress". I have never been one to judge someone based on how they look. Still, I'm aware of the fact that some people choose to. Last week, on his radio show, Howard Stern & his co-anchor (which happens to be a black woman) talked about how Gabourey Sidibe wouldn't amount to anything in Hollywood due to her physical appearance. Well, these beliefs are already being challenged. Gabourey is set to star in the dark comedy series "The Big C" for the Showtime network. 13 episodes will be shot; starting in May. After that, Sidibe has a supporting role waiting for her in the indie film, "Yelling To The Sky". Shoutout to Gabourey for continuing to make a new for herself despite the negativity. I am excited about seeing more of her!

This happened on 3/16/10. I was shocked! Larry Long, 33, of Kentucky, is charged with first degree endangerment after he put his 5 week old son in the oven & left him there overnight!!! Luckily, the oven wasn't on & the oven door was slightly open. The baby boy made it through the ordeal unharmed & is now in the custody or his grandparents. Long was high on weed & drunk on whiskey when he placed the infant in the oven. He told officials that he believed his marijuana had been laced with an hallucinatory agent.

Myrtle Beach Airport...

Early Friday morning a maintenance worker at Myrtle Beach International Airport noticed a suspicious male wandering on airport grounds & called the police. When the police arrived the man began stabbing himself repeatedly. As a result, the 49 year old was transported to the local hospital & pronounced dead at 11:05 a.m. The man wasn't a passenger of any flights that day so there is an investigation going on to try to figure out how he got in such a restricted area of the airport. Shoutout to the maintenance worker for alerting the authorities. He did his part.

President Obama made his final plea on healthcare reform Friday. The House is set to vote on the $875 billion plan this Sunday. An additional $65 billion worth of compromises (changes) to the bill will also be decided on. If The Senate passes the bill then the next step is Obama signing it into law. There's alot of $ being put into this bill but we NEED a change. Something has to be done about the current state of healthcare. P.S. I think Obama is oh so sexy!!!

...I'm sure you do. She was the teen who went missing while on a Senior Trip to Aruba back in May 2005. Jordan Van Der Sloot & his two friends have always been the primary suspects in her disappearance. I remember watching her mother go from pleading for her return to taking the initiative & organizing searches herself. She even criticized the Arubian government stating that they weren't doing enough to try to solve the case. I have always wondered what happen to her. Patti & John Muldowney were snorkling in Aruba. Patti stated that her primary reason for going was to take pictures of the "pretty fish". Well, one of the pictures she took later caught her & her husband's eye. The couple was interviewed by Nancy Grace & they brought the picture along. I can't lie...it definitely looks like a skeleton. However, officials have yet to confirm if they are Holloway's remains. As much as I don't want to admit it the crazy weather that's been being experienced WORLDWIDE has got me turning to "The Good Book". I won't get too religious on you guys; that's not why I'm doing this. Still, to all of you who have the same religious or spiritual beliefs as me...isn't the current state of the world discussed in Revelations??! Did yall hear about that mysterious voice coming over the P.A. system in a New Jersey Walmart & ordering all BLACK customers to leave? Well, a 16 year old boy has been charged with the act. He was arrested on Friday but released to his parents soon after because a lawyer wasn't present.. Police are not releasing the boy's name or race. The case will be handled in Juvenile Court in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where the boy lives. This isn't the first time Walmart has been the vocal point for these types of racially motivated incidences. What is up with people wanting to act a fool in walmart?!

The healthcare reform bill was passed!!!!!! President Obama will sign it into law on Tuesday. It is projected to extend insurance coverage to roughly 32 millions Americans who don't have it. Most Americans will now be required to have health insurance or pay a fine. Large employers will be required to provide coverage or they will also risk receiving a financial penalty. Lifetime coverage limits will be BANNED & insurers are NOT ALLOWED to deny coverage based on age or pre-existing conditions. In a previous post I mentioned a separate compromise package that has to be voted on separate from the bill. This package of additions with increase the cost of the bill but The Senate can't begin voting on that until AFTER tuesday. ;) I am so excited about this victory & so proud of Obama! Since day one people have had something to say about they way he's done things. I'm glad he didn't budge on this bill & give into the criticism. Those same people that were & still are complaining will be the ones taking advantage of the reform the most.

I haven't been watching the tournament like I thought I would. It just hasn't caught my attention this time around. Nonetheless, as I predicted, it was filled with some suprising upsets. Former Colombian model Angie Sanclemente is now one of South America's "most wanted". An international warrant has been issued for her arrest. Officials suspect that she may be the "queen pin" of an international operation that uses models as traffickers to transport suitcases loaded with cocaine out of Buenos Aires. Six people have been arrested so far in connection with the drug ring. What's really crazy is that Sanclemente has still been updating her facebook status...proclaiming her innocence. I don't know about yall but if I had an international warrant out for my arrest the LAST thing on my mind would be updating a facebook status!!!

I could NOT wait to do a post on this! As you guys know, from an earlier post, you can find me on twitter. Sometime last week I was going through my timeline and I came across some tweets about a "lady" named, Kat Stacks. One of them said something to the effect of, "she slept with Magic Johnson, you see how that turned out." Another one said, "I'm on Kat Stacks blog bein' nosy. You should be too." Of course, I had to check it out lol! So, I pull up her timeline (http://twitter.com/KatStacks) & she's going on & on about "putting people on blast" & "check out my blog", etc. I hit the link, scroll down, and the first thing I see is a story about Young Money's Jae Millz (http://twitter.com/JAE_MILLZ). Apparently, they had a sexual encouter & things went south. This has inspired her to dedicate an entire blog to "exposing" all the rappers/entertainers she's been intimate with. I scrolled down further & saw stories about Lil Twist, Bow Wow, Nelly, & Aaron Carter. She has even invited other "ladies" to share their stories so you can catch entries about Lil Wayne, Yung Berg, & Gorilla Zoe. However, I won't get into the details of each post because I think it's sad. When did being a "groupie" who sleeps around with everyone become a common source of income? Ms. Stacks likes to back up her claims with pictures of text messages & DM's on twitter. The bottom line to me is: showing "proof" doesn't make you any less of a "groupie"! I was always taught, "a man isn't gonna go any further then you allow him to." Now, can I preach? It amazes me how a female who lays down with everybody gets recognized quicker than a female who works hard & values herself. This girl is claiming to already have book deals in the works. I even watched a video of her today on http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/ where she is bashing Young Money. Saying they're called Young Money because "they ain't got no grown ass money". BUT, she goes on only to brag about sleeping with the whole crew!!!!! LOL! Reading through her blog a little bit more I was able to find out that she's been in a abusive relationship before & she's been raped. This explains her actions however, it's still no excuse. There comes a time when you have to take responsibility for your actions & decide whether or not to break the cycle. There are other ways to deal with your pain besides humiliating yourself & others. I've been suprised at the response she's gotten on twitter. Guys & girls have been encouraging her to keep it going. Saying "oh, a guy can sleep with 100's of women but a girl can't sleep with 100's of dudes?" "People shouldn't be so quick to jump on her". I am aware of the double standard but why go out of your way to challenge such a TRASHY, DEGRADING double standard? Why not do something like prove that a woman can be president or that a woman CAN make it without using her body? I don't know where Kat Stacks is going to end up but she needs to be focused on her son. Whom she briefly alludes to in her blog. WOMEN, WE HAVE GOT TO DO BETTER!!!!!!!!! I am so very excited about this! A lot of people were skeptical about exactly what the show would be about and the overall success of it. I am proud to say I was never one of those skeptics and I just had a feeling that it would be a big hit! I love how Tiny & Toya are showing that as a woman you don't have to be content standing in a man's shadow. In their particular case these men are celebrities! If they can do it so can us "regular" girls. They inspire me to never give up and never put my dreams on hold for anyone. They have been on almost every magazine cover the past couple weeks and they have ringtones coming out! Make that money ladies!! Catch the PREMIERE episode TUESDAY APRIL 13th @ 10PM on BET!

Brandy & her brother Ray J have teamed up for a new reality show brought to you by none other than VH1. The show actually premiered last night (April 11th) at 10pm. Unfortunately, I forgot all about it. However, my twitter timeline was going crazy with reviews. I found that people either loved it or hated it. There wasn't much "in between". I even saw a tweet about Brandy rapping...that really suprised me! From what I can piece together the show follows Brandy & Ray J as they try to stay relevant in the industry & take their careers to the next level while still trying to make "family" a priority. We've seen to often how hard this can be. Hopefully, they can keep it together. I definitely need to catch that premiere at some point. New episodes air Sudays @ 9pm.

The Dream is back! His first single, "Love King", is also the name of his upcoming album. I have heard rumors that this will be The Dream's last album. It has been said that he wants to go back to strictly songwriting & producing. Hate on him all you want...you must admit he comes up with some catchy tunes. AND he managed to "scoop up" Christina Milian.

I was on http://www.lilwaynehq.com when I came across a video of some behind-the-scenes footage from a Young Money video Shoot. It didn't take me long to realize that this particular footage was different from any I'd ever seen before. What caught my eye was the cinematography that was used evrything is in HD. "Normal" behind-the-scenes footage uses basic lighting, frames, & angles. When you watch footage shot by Derick G it feels & looks like a movie! He is a professional photographer...not just some "Joe Blow" with a camera. This would explain his unique style of work.
