You Have GOT to be Kidding Me!

I could NOT wait to do a post on this! As you guys know, from an earlier post, you can find me on twitter. Sometime last week I was going through my timeline and I came across some tweets about a "lady" named, Kat Stacks. One of them said something to the effect of, "she slept with Magic Johnson, you see how that turned out." Another one said, "I'm on Kat Stacks blog bein' nosy. You should be too." Of course, I had to check it out lol! So, I pull up her timeline (http://twitter.com/KatStacks) & she's going on & on about "putting people on blast" & "check out my blog", etc. I hit the link, scroll down, and the first thing I see is a story about Young Money's Jae Millz (http://twitter.com/JAE_MILLZ). Apparently, they had a sexual encouter & things went south. This has inspired her to dedicate an entire blog to "exposing" all the rappers/entertainers she's been intimate with. I scrolled down further & saw stories about Lil Twist, Bow Wow, Nelly, & Aaron Carter. She has even invited other "ladies" to share their stories so you can catch entries about Lil Wayne, Yung Berg, & Gorilla Zoe. However, I won't get into the details of each post because I think it's sad. When did being a "groupie" who sleeps around with everyone become a common source of income? Ms. Stacks likes to back up her claims with pictures of text messages & DM's on twitter. The bottom line to me is: showing "proof" doesn't make you any less of a "groupie"! I was always taught, "a man isn't gonna go any further then you allow him to." Now, can I preach? It amazes me how a female who lays down with everybody gets recognized quicker than a female who works hard & values herself. This girl is claiming to already have book deals in the works. I even watched a video of her today on http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/ where she is bashing Young Money. Saying they're called Young Money because "they ain't got no grown ass money". BUT, she goes on only to brag about sleeping with the whole crew!!!!! LOL! Reading through her blog a little bit more I was able to find out that she's been in a abusive relationship before & she's been raped. This explains her actions however, it's still no excuse. There comes a time when you have to take responsibility for your actions & decide whether or not to break the cycle. There are other ways to deal with your pain besides humiliating yourself & others. I've been suprised at the response she's gotten on twitter. Guys & girls have been encouraging her to keep it going. Saying "oh, a guy can sleep with 100's of women but a girl can't sleep with 100's of dudes?" "People shouldn't be so quick to jump on her". I am aware of the double standard but why go out of your way to challenge such a TRASHY, DEGRADING double standard? Why not do something like prove that a woman can be president or that a woman CAN make it without using her body? I don't know where Kat Stacks is going to end up but she needs to be focused on her son. Whom she briefly alludes to in her blog. WOMEN, WE HAVE GOT TO DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!
