More Voting...

The House is expected to vote this week on the healthcare bill that was passed by the Senate in December. There has been so much uproar surrounding this bill. Republicans see it as an unnecessary tax increase as well as another addition to the country's debt. Ever since he's introduced this bill President Obama's approval ratings haved dropped. The most recent Gallup Poll shows an approval rating of 48%. The lowest was, 46% & the highest, 69%. 216 votes are needed to pass the bill. There are 34 undecided Democratic votes to be accounted for. That's alot of votes so they're is lobbying going on from both supporters & opposers of the bill. I, myself, support the bill. Even if it's not passed I believe we're still going to see some sort of tax increase in the future so why not let it be for a good reason? I feel as though we as a nation are backtracking. Our ancestors fought so that neccessities such as healthcare would be available to all. It saddens me to see citizens Having to choose between eating or purchasing their medicine.
